The former couple share two children, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8, and sources close to them say family remains the priority despite the split.
“They are doing great,” one insider told PEOPLE, adding that the pair recently celebrated Biggs’ 48th birthday together as a family. Honestly, that detail alone probably says a lot about where things currently stand between them.
“They are very much connected,” the source continued. “I have no doubt that they will remain on excellent terms.”
Biggs and Mollen first met while filming the 2008 comedy My Best Friend’s Girl. Things moved quickly after that. They got engaged in January of the same year before quietly eloping just months later. Later that summer, they held a second wedding ceremony in Napa Valley with close friends and family.
