There’s nothing like live music in the summertime, especially when it’s free. On Friday, the CitiParks Office of Special Events announced the schedule for their 2026 Summer Concert Series, presented by Citizens. The series includes 22 live music events in four different city parks.

From jazz to classical to rock, these free concerts have something for everyone, and many events will also feature food trucks and vendors.

“Stars at Riverview” will be held at Riverview Park in Observatory Hill from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturdays from June 6 to July 25 (skipping July 4). The performances will be followed by Cinema in the Park movie showings. Acts will include Roger Barbour, Big Fat Jazz and Chantal Joseph. Rotating food trucks will also be available on site.

Those who prefer some music in the morning won’t want to miss “Bach, Beethoven and Brunch” at Mellon Park. Concerts will be held on Sundays from June 21 to July 26 (skipping July 5) from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Enjoy instrumental music from East Winds Symphonic Band, Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and others. Refreshments will be available, but attendees are also encouraged to bring a picnic basket and compete in the “Best Brunch” competition at intermission.

On the jazzy side, “Reservoir of Jazz” takes place at Highland Park from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sundays from Aug. 2-30. Performers will include Steel City Calypson, Lee Robinson & ISKA, Mode Indigo and more. There will also be refreshments and rotating craft vendors on site. And stick around after for sessions of “Summer Soul Line Dancing.”

Lastly, head up to Mt. Washington for the “Jam at Grandview.” Concerts will be held Saturdays in August from 7 to 8:30 p.m. See genre-blending acts including SamJAMwich, Sunny Daze & The Weathermen, Brahctopus and more while enjoying refreshments — and gorgeous views of the City of Pittsburgh.
