Cocktail 2 New Song Mashooqa Fails To Impress Fans Despite Shahid & Kriti’s Chemistry

The vibe of Cocktail 2 has been getting more and more electrifying and with their latest song, you know you’re in for a fun ride. Releasing on June 19, the movie stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna. It is directed by Homi Adajania, produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg.

The latest song of the movie, “Mashooqa,”is a vibe that is dividing fans. After “Jab Talak” was released, this is the second song in the film to reach the public ears, and it only sends mixed signals towards the film.

Cocktail 2 Releases New Song

The second song for Cocktail 2, “Mashooqa,” was launched recently and it introduces the audience to Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor’s characters, Ally and Kunal. Raghav Chaitanya, Ruaa Kayy, and Mahmood sang the song. It is composed by Pritam and Mahmood, and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Mahmood.

The song follows the vibe of a vacation, with both Kriti and Shahid looking stunning. However, fans are divided on whether they like the song or not. On one hand, they are impressed by the beats and are looking forward to the film. On the other hand, it is underwhelming in a way that makes them want a lot more.

With the film releasing in almost a month, we have yet to see more of Rashmika Mandanna’s character as well. However, the song does set the tone and chemistry that Kunal and Ally will share, a love story of will they – won’t they.

Although the songs haven’t hit the mark, there is still a chance that the movie impresses them. It is a sequel to Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty’s classic Cocktail. This is why the expectations are so high, because the bar was set just as high.
