Rapcore outfit Gridiron released a new four-song EP today, May 21st. Titled “Lights Out“, that effort features two new tracks, and and a pair of remixes from their current album, “Poetry From Pain“. A music video for the title track directed by Dan Centrone went up today in tandem with the EP’s release and is now streaming below.
According to vocalist Matthew Karll, that song is about, “about revenge, a track about counting your chickens before they hatch. A song about going out and getting back what’s yours.”
One of the featured remixes on this effort was done by NOWHERE2RUN, a collective that features the Code Orange duo of Jamie Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose.
