‘Michael Jackson: The Verdict’: 6 takeaways from the documentary

Does ‘Masters of the Universe’ have mid-credits scenes or post-credits scenes? Here’s the spoiler-free answer.

If Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” was her only hit this year, 2026 would still be the biggest period in her career. That track has now led the Billboard Hot 100, the American list of the most-consumed songs, for a milestone 10 weeks. It’s relatively uncommon for any country tune to dominate the tally, and only a handful that can be classified under that style have ruled for double-digit frames.

Thankfully for her, “Choosin’ Texas” is not Langley’s only smash. In fact, she once again claims the two biggest songs in the nation. As Langley manages that incredible and uncommon showing, she breaks out of a tie with one of the genre’s all-time hitmakers in one specific fashion.

“Choosin’ Texas” Earns a Tenth Week at No. 1

“Choosin’ Texas” leads the Billboard Hot 100 for a tenth week, and it once again blocks another track by Langley from leading the charge. Fellow Dandelion single “Be Her” is comfortable for another frame at No. 2. The track reached that position just last time around, and when it did, Langley became one of a select few artists to sit at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously. Just days ago, the singer-songwriter stood out as only the second country artist to accomplish the feat, but now she stands alone.

Ella Langley Beats Morgan Wallen’s Chart Record

Before Langley, Morgan Wallen was the sole country act to appear in the loftiest two slots on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. He made history when “What I Want,” a collaboration with Tate McRae, debuted at the summit in 2025. During the same period, “Just in Case” rose to No. 2, while “I’m the Problem,” the title track from his album that produced all three smashes, improved to No. 3 after once rising all the way to No. 2.

Wallen only accomplished the showing once, and Billboard notes that Langley is now the first country artist to sit at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously on more than one occasion.

Ella Langley Blocks Herself from No. 1 – Again

Langley stops herself from landing a new champion on four Billboard charts as “Choosin’ Texas” leads the way and “Be Her” either keeps at No. 2 or returns to that spot. The country talent appears in those spaces on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as the Streaming Songs, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs lists.

“Choosin’ Texas” Leads Six Billboard Charts

In addition to those four tallies, “Choosin’ Texas” also manages to lead another pair of rankings. The track is once again the bestselling in the nation, and it holds at No. 1 on both the Digital Song Sales and Country Digital Song Sales charts. Luminate reports that in the most recent tracking period, “Choosin’ Texas” sold just under 6,900 copies. That is just over twice as many as the second-bestselling cut, “Go” by the Chemical Brothers.

Ella Langley’s Collaboration with Morgan Wallen Holds

Langley recently dropped “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” a collaboration with Wallen, which is also performing well, although it has yet to give either “Choosin’ Texas” or “Be Her” a real run for their money. Langley fills the highest three spaces on the Streaming Songs, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts thanks to her high-profile duet. “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” which once replaced “Choosin’ Texas” atop the list of the bestselling country cuts in the U.S., is steady at No. 2.
