The Pretty Reckless are ushering in a bold new era with the release of “Dear God,” the title track from the band’s upcoming fifth studio album of the same name.
Fronted by Taylor Momsen, the rock band unveiled the emotionally charged single ahead of the album’s release through Fearless Records.
A Dark and Emotional New Chapter for The Pretty Reckless
“Dear God” leans into the band’s signature blend of haunting melodies, explosive guitars, and deeply personal lyricism. According to Momsen, the song explores desperation: “’Dear God’ is desperation set to music. When life gets that physical, that brutal, you leave your body and start begging something bigger than yourself to pull you out. That space between heaven and hell isn’t a metaphor. It’s somewhere you actually live.”
The Pretty Reckless described Dear God as one of their rawest and most uncompromising projects yet, embracing vulnerability and artistic freedom throughout the record.
