‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Leaps Atop Weekly U.K. Home Entertainment Sales Chart Through May 27

Universal/Illumination’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the top-grossing box office release ($983.7 million) thus far in 2026, jumped atop the Official Film Chart, the weekly U.K. home entertainment sales chart, through May 27.

Amazon MGM Studios’ sci-fi adventure Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, dropped to No. 2 in its second week on the chart, followed by 20th Century Studios’ Fight Club Steelbook Release, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, at No. 3.

Warner’s horror movie Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, which generated $89.5 million at the global box office, debuted at No. 4.

After four weeks at No. 1, 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: Fire and Ash remained at No. 5 in its eighth week on the chart. Director James Cameron’s third installment in the “Avatar” fantasy franchise generated $1.48 billion at the global box office.

Disney/Searchlight Pictures’ horror comedy Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, which generated $39.5 million at the global box office, dropped three spots to No. 6 in its third week on the chart.

At No. 7 was Warner’s Wuthering Heights (2026), down five spots in its eighth week on the chart. The latest adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, generated $242 million at the global box office.

Warner’s comedy horror adaptation of The Bride, which generated $23.9 million at the global box office, bowed at No. 8.

Disney Animation’s Hoppers dropped five spots to No. 9 in its third week on the chart. The movie generated $372 million at the global box office.

Dropping four spots to No. 10 in its eighth week on the chart is Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT, which generated $193.5 million at the worldwide box office.
