A major photography exhibition is set to go on display.
Blenheim Palace will showcase Life Through a Royal Lens, running from July 12 to September 27, exploring the British royal family’s relationship with photography from the Victorian era to the present day.
The exhibition will feature more than 100 photographs in the palace’s Long Library, including rare behind-the-scenes moments alongside iconic royal portraits.
Highlights will include the final public photograph of Queen Elizabeth II and portraits from the first three years of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s reign.

Images will also include those captured by renowned photographers such as Cecil Beaton, Marcus Adams, Annie Leibovitz, and Rankin.
The exhibition has been curated by Historic Royal Palaces and is touring with Nomad Exhibitions.
Visitors will also be able to explore the palace through a 12pm daily State Rooms tour led by a costumed guide during the run of the exhibition.
As part of the royal theme, the Green Drawing Room will feature a specially dressed dining table commemorating the Prince and Princess of Wales’ visit 130 years ago.
An immersive Life Below Stairs experience will transport guests back to the 1890s, recreating the preparations undertaken by palace staff for a royal visit.
