Most recently, Reilly is back in full force as Bethany “Beth” Dutton, the sharp-tongued, fiercely intelligent former financier who is as loyal as she is unpredictable.
But before the ranch dramas, Reilly showed a very different side of herself in the 2008 psychological thriller Eden Lake, where she played Jenny, a kind-hearted nursery school teacher who finds herself in a terrifying situation far removed from Montana drama.
She also popped up in the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, joining a cast that included Keira Knightley, Rosamund Pike, and Carey Mulligan. Reilly played Miss Caroline Bingley, a socially ambitious and very judgmental character who is basically the opposite of Beth Dutton in every way.
