Summer adventure at Roper Mountain
What: Want to pet a stingray? See the “Survival of the Slowest” traveling exhibit? Visit outdoor dinosaur trails? These things and more await at the Roper Mountain Science Center.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, through July 25.

Greenville Triumph vs. Forward Madison FC
What: Professional soccer team Greenville Triumph will play its first game at its newly opened stadium, GE Vernova Park.
When: 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 3.
Where: GE Vernova Park, 825 Bridgeway Blvd., Simpsonville.

Music by the Lake Concert Series
What: Carolina Youth Symphony will play as part of the Music by the Lake Concert Series, the “Sounds of Summer,” hosted by Furman University’s music department. The series will have a new performance each Thursday night through the end of July.
When: 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 4.
Where: Furman Amphitheater, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville.

Disney’s ‘Frozen’
What: Greenville’s 100-year-old theater is bringing to the stage an adaptation of “Frozen” that’s straight from Broadway. Families can join their favorite songs and characters such as Elsa, Anna and Olaf in this powerful tale of sisterhood.
When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. The show opens Friday, June 5, and runs through June 28.
