Will Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino has filed a lawsuit against Bilaal Salaam, the former friend of the movie star and rapper who lost a lawsuit against Jada Pinkett Smith this month, over claims he made in an interview with gossip blogger Tasha K
As reported by TMZ, Zampino, who was married to Smith from 1992 to 1995, claimed in the lawsuit that Salaam has “turned his attention” to her by making “outrageously offensive, shocking, and hurtful statements” during an interview with Tasha K. In the lawsuit, Zampino highlighted a clip for the interview, which was captioned, “Exclusive: Bilaal claims Will Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino was sleeping with everyone in [Hollywood]!!!”
While the clip has since been removed, Salaam made even more disparaging remarks about Smith’s ex-wife in the full interview. He referred to her as a “whore” multiple times throughout the episode of Unwine with Tasha K, and alleged that, at one point, she was “screwing everybody in Hollywood.” Zampino has disputed the claims and said that they should be considered slander under California law.
She is taking legal action for slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress, seeking compensatory damages in excess of $1 million, legal costs, and additional punitive damages.
Salaam was formerly friends with Will Smith, but their relationship soured after he repeatedly made several public claims about the actor, his family, and his friends. Earlier this month, a Los Angeles judge ruled that he is required to pay Jada Pinkett Smith over $32,000 in legal fees after he lost a $3 million lawsuit he filed against her for making alleged threats. In December 2025, Salaam filed the lawsuit accusing Pinkett Smith of threatening him during a 2021 encounter at the Regency Calabasas Commons hotel in California.
