WhiteHawk Capital Partners, a private credit investment manager focused on asset-based financing solutions, announced the closing of a US$390 million senior secured financing for The Star Entertainment Group. The transaction provides additional liquidity to The Star while refinancing certain existing debt obligations.
The Star is one of Australia’s leading integrated resort operators, with major properties located in Sydney, the Gold Coast, and Brisbane. Its portfolio includes casino, hotel, and entertainment destinations serving domestic and international guests.
The refinancing comes as The Star continues efforts to strengthen its financial position and execute a broader turnaround strategy. Earlier, the company secured A$300 million in equity investments from Bally’s Corporation and Investment Holdings Ltd. The new financing from WhiteHawk is intended to further stabilize the company’s balance sheet and support its ongoing operational transformation.
