North Tahoe Community Choir Broadway Concert – 2-4 p.m., St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 341 Village Blvd.. North Tahoe Community Choir, directed by Donna Roberts Axton, presents our annual Broadway Concert, featuring music from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins, in honor of Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday, and Jekyll & Hyde. Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic – 1-4 p.m., 705 CA-28. Celebrate the 19th Annual Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1–4 p.m. Enjoy a scenic lakeside wine walk through downtown Tahoe City featuring tastings from regional wineries and beverage makers paired with delicious bites from local restaurants and caterers, plus live music and shopping along the way. 4th Annual Tahoe Joy Festival – 12 a.m.-7 p.m., Commons Beach, 400 N Lake Blvd. The Tahoe Joy Festival is a free, one-day benefit music festival held annually at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. A signature event of the Joy Foundation, the festival amplifies regional and youth musicians, local artists, and nonprofit partners while creating inclusive, family-friendly experiences. Through live music and community connection, Tahoe Joy Festival raises awareness and funds for local nonprofits and celebrates the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Now in its fourth year, the festival was founded by musician Matt Axton as a tribute to his father, entertainment icon and Tahoe City resident Hoyt Axton, whose most famous hit “Joy to the World” (“Jeremiah was a bullfrog”) inspired the festival’s spirit. The Elovaters – 8 p.m.-12 a.m., Crystal Bay Casino, 14 Highway 28.
