Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium is gearing up for a landmark summer of sport, dining and entertainment ahead of adding live music events next year

Everton are planning on bringing concerts to Hill Dickinson Stadium in 2027 as the club gears up for a landmark summer of sport, dining, entertainment and major events this year.

The end of the football season no longer means closing the doors for the Blues as their waterfront home continues to establish itself as one of the UK’s most exciting year-round venues.

Following a historic first season for Everton by the banks of the Mersey, the stadium will welcome visitors from across the city, region and beyond, with a packed summer programme ranging from international football and rugby to World Cup watch parties, premium dining, golf, boxing, stadium tours and major fan experiences.

The programme reflects the club’s ambition for Hill Dickinson Stadium to be more than a matchday venue.

Designed from the outset to host world-class sport, music and entertainment, the stadium’s steeply raked stands, impressive sightlines, versatile premium spaces, expansive Budweiser Plaza and spectacular waterfront setting provide the platform for everything from intimate experiences to major events approaching its 52,769 capacity.

Aaron Duckmanton, Everton’s chief revenue officer, said: “This summer is a really exciting moment for Hill Dickinson Stadium and for the city.

“This stadium was always designed to deliver world-class experiences for supporters, visitors, partners and event organisers. It works brilliantly for football, but also gives us the flexibility to host alternative sport, entertainment, dining and premium experiences across the year.

“The scale and adaptability of the venue is what makes it so special. We can host everything from intimate premium experiences to major events up to 53,000, all within a stadium designed around atmosphere, sightlines and fan experience.

“This summer’s programme gives people so many different ways to experience the stadium, and I think Evertonians can be proud to see their new home being used in this way.”

What’s on this summer

This summer’s programme includes:

  • England Women v Ukraine, FIFA World Cup qualifier – Tuesday, June 9
  • Domingo’s Bar & Grill – selected dates from the weekend commencing June 13 to August 2
  • England World Cup watch parties – June 17, 23 and 27
  • Betfred Super League Magic Weekend – Saturday 4 and Sunday, July 5
  • Fiji v England, 2026 Rugby Union Nations Championship – Saturday, July 11
  • Upper Deck Golf – Thursday 16 to Sunday, July 19
  • An Evening with Bellew and Calzaghe– Friday, July 24
  • Stadium tours, Father’s Day Experience, Trinity Place Café and Everton Store – open throughout the summer

England Women make history at Hill Dickinson Stadium

The summer programme begins next Tuesday when Hill Dickinson Stadium hosts England Women’s final Women’s World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.

The fixture will be a landmark moment, with the Lionesses becoming the first England team to play at Everton’s new waterfront home.

Working with The FA, Everton has released a special Event Guide to support the tens of thousands of England fans travelling from across the country. The comprehensive guide includes detailed travel advice through the club’s Travel Hub, alongside information on food and drink, digital tickets, accessibility, free WiFi and phone connectivity, safeguarding, bag and flag policies, interactive stadium maps and what supporters can expect in and around the ground.

Ahead of kick-off, the club will also host more than 100 former Blues stars who have represented Everton Women or Leasowe Pacific down the years and went on to represent England. The event will recognise the women who helped pave the way for the growth and progress of the women’s game.

Tickets for England v Ukraine remain available by signing in to or creating a My England account HERE.

Domingo’s Bar & Grill opens to the public

From the weekend commencing June 13 through to August 2, Hill Dickinson Stadium will open one of its most elegant premium dining spaces to the public, with Domingo’s Bar & Grill available on selected non-matchdays.

Located within Everton’s iconic waterfront home and offering panoramic views across the River Mersey, Domingo’s will serve a Saturday evening grill house menu, while Sundays will focus on a traditional lunch featuring a classic roast and all the trimmings. A kids’ menu is also available.

The restaurant pays homage to St Domingo’s FC, the original name of Everton Football Club, and is open to all, with no Everton or stadium membership required.

Bookings have already proved extremely popular, with some dates completely sold out. Limited reservations remain available on selected dates, and anyone looking to book a Saturday evening meal or family Sunday roast is encouraged to do so quickly to avoid disappointment.

Watch England’s World Cup Fixtures at The Yard

Football fans will also be able to gather and watch England’s 2026 FIFA World Cup group-stage fixtures from The Yard, Dock on 1, one of Hill Dickinson Stadium’s standout waterfront spaces.

With stunning evening views across the River Mersey as dusk turns into night, the Three Lions screening events will offer supporters the chance to back England and follow Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford on the world stage from one of the stadium’s premium spaces.

England fixtures being shown include England v Croatia on Wednesday, June 17 and England v Ghana on Tuesday, June 23, with doors opening at 7.30pm ahead of 9pm kick-offs, followed by England v Panama on Saturday, June 27, with doors opening at 8.30pm ahead of a 10pm kick-off.

Tickets are now on sale from £10 and a range of options including VIP tables for six, shared and reserved seating. CLICK HERE for more details and to book.

Food and drink will be available throughout the evening, including pizza by the slice, loaded salt and pepper chicken and chips baskets, vegetarian options and the return of Pepsi’s Hill Dickinson Stadium-exclusive House of Fizz activation.

All events are strictly 18+, with spaces limited and expected to be in high demand.

Magic Weekend comes to the waterfront

On Saturday 4 and Sunday, July 5, Hill Dickinson Stadium will host the 2026 Betfred Super League Magic Weekend, bringing one of Rugby League’s biggest and most popular annual events to Everton’s new home.

Magic Weekend is a unique celebration of Rugby League, with a full round of Super League fixtures played across two days at one venue. It brings together supporters from across the sport for a festival-style weekend of elite action, derby rivalries, entertainment and fan activity, creating one of the standout occasions in the Rugby League calendar.

The event follows the successful staging of the Rugby League Ashes Test at Hill Dickinson Stadium in November, the first major non-football event held at the venue, which attracted a crowd of 52,106, delivered a landmark moment for the club, the sport and the city region, and showcased the stadium’s ability to host major events beyond Everton matchdays.

Building on that momentum, the 2026 Magic Weekend is already proving hugely popular, with ticket sales reaching record-breaking levels and Rugby League fans clearly embracing the stadium on the banks of the Mersey.

With limited availability now remaining, anyone interested in experiencing one of the best weekends in the Rugby League calendar is encouraged to book quickly, HERE.

Fiji bring international rugby union to Liverpool

Hill Dickinson Stadium will then switch codes to host an international rugby union fixture, with Fiji making the stadium their home as they take on England in the Nations Championship on Saturday, July 11.

Demand for tickets has already been high, with limited availability remaining for what will be a landmark occasion as England play outside Twickenham on home soil for the first time in just over a decade.

As a designated home fixture for Fiji, the event will also bring a vibrant celebration of Fijian culture to Liverpool, with supporters able to enjoy traditional music, food, dance and cultural performances as part of a unique matchday experience.

Tickets are available from £25 for adults and £10 for juniors HERE, with supporters encouraged to book quickly to avoid missing out. Premium experiences in Hill Dickinson Stadium’s bars, restaurants and experiences are also available via Seat Unique HERE.

Upper Deck Golf makes European debut

From Thursday 16 July to Sunday, July 19, visitors will be able to tee off and play golf inside Hill Dickinson Stadium as Upper Deck Golf comes to Europe for the first time.

The four-day event will transform Everton’s new home into an interactive golf experience, with tee boxes positioned high in the stands and custom greens laid out on the pitch below.

Previous Upper Deck Golf events have taken place at iconic North American venues including Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium and Dodger Stadium.

The announcement generated worldwide media attention and strong interest from golf fans, with Ryder Cup winners Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood, an Evertonian, both indicating their desire to be part of the event when it was first revealed.

With The Open Championship taking place nearby at Royal Birkdale during the same week, participants will also be able to watch live coverage across the venue while enjoying a festival-style atmosphere with music, food, drinks and golf challenges.

Priority windows are now open, with Season Ticket, Premium and Forever Blue+ Members receiving exclusive early access to tee times before a second priority window for those who register for early access ahead of general sale.

With demand expected to be high and limited availability across the four days, anyone interested is encouraged to register their interest HERE.

An Evening with Tony Bellew and Joe Calzaghe

The Yard will welcome two British boxing legends on Friday, July 24, as Tony Bellew and Joe Calzaghe come together for a special live event inside Everton’s new waterfront home.

The evening will see two former world champions share the stories behind their biggest fights, defining career moments, rivalries and experiences at the very top of the sport.

Hosted by Mark Peters, who has spent more than 25 years working alongside some of the world’s greatest fighters, including more than 50 former world champions, the event promises raw honesty, humour, powerful memories and exclusive behind-the-scenes insight.

With live interviews, audience interaction, photo opportunities and premium experiences available, the event is set to be one of Liverpool’s standout sporting evenings of the summer. Click HERE for tickets.

Stadium tours, cafe and store open throughout summer

Hill Dickinson Stadium tours will also be available throughout the summer, giving supporters and visitors the chance to go behind the scenes at Everton’s new waterfront home.

Since launching, the tours have proved hugely popular with Evertonians and tourists alike, offering access to some of the stadium’s most impressive spaces and providing a closer look at the scale, design and matchday experience of one of the UK’s newest major sporting venues.

A special Father’s Day Experience with Neville Southall on Sunday, June 21 – sold out in record time – will give fans the chance to tour Hill Dickinson Stadium, walk on the pitch and take part in a Q&A with the Everton Giant.

More generally, all visitors will also be able to enjoy Trinity Place Café, which remains open all-year round and will be serving food and drink during the close-season, while the Official Everton Store, adjacent, is expected to be another popular destination throughout the summer, particularly around the launch of the club’s new kits.

Duckmanton added: “The programme already confirmed for this summer shows the scale of what is possible at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but our ambition does not stop there.

“We are already working on plans for summer 2027 and 2028 including live music events, as we continue to build a calendar that makes full use of the stadium, the waterfront setting and the spaces around it.

“The aim is to keep adding new reasons for people to visit Hill Dickinson Stadium outside of Everton matchdays, and to establish it as one of the most exciting venues for major events in the UK.”
