The AEW “Collision” televised wrestling show will return to Covelli Centre on Saturday.
The wrestling promotion made its Youngstown debut two years ago, and it was a decent show. Once again, only half of the arena seats are being sold. The crowd will be squeezed together on one side of the bowl, with the other side kept dark.

Saturday’s card is expected to include an AEW women’s tag team title match and a women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament quarterfinal.
The Divine Dominion team (Lena Kross and Megan Bayne) will put their titles on the line against TayJaye (Taye Melo and Anna Jay).
Another women’s clash will pit Persephone and Hazuki against each other as part of the women’s Hart Foundation tourney. Orange Cassidy, the acrobatic men’s star with the disinterested personality, is also expected to be in the house.

- The Mahoning Valley Scrappers baseball season got underway this week, and the first Buck Night will take place tonight at 7 17 Field in Niles. General admission seats are $1, and so are hot dogs and fountain drinks. Twelve-ounce domestic beers are $2. The MLB Draft League team is taking on State College. - The June First Fridays after-work artsy get-together will take place from 5-8 p.m. Friday in downtown Youngstown. This month’s celebration will include Chalk the Walk sidewalk art, a pop-up skate park and a vendors market. The action takes place on Phelps Street. Admission is free.
- The fourth annual Cowtown in the Round will take place Saturday at Birdfish Brewing in Columbiana. Country music fans know that a round is the homey practice of seating three artists with acoustic guitars on the stage together, as they take turns playing their own songs and discussing the music. Seven artists with Valley roots and tons of experience will take part: Ryan Blakeman, Carl Besece, Dave Smith, Taylor Borton, Cora Reef, Molly Maltempi and Leo D’Angelo. They will team in altering lineups for five rounds, starting at 1 p.m. Admission is free.

- The Royal Oaks, 924 Oak St. on Youngstown’s east side, has put together a rock fest from 4-10 p.m. Saturday with six bands that are quite familiar with the bar: The Cheats, Punk Willie, Turbo Lovers, The Shoe Shine Boys, 8 Balls and the Living Room Rockers. Admission is $20 for the event, dubbed Loyal to the Royal.
- “The Voice,” a production of Opera Western Reserve, will be staged at an unusual location Wednesday: Penguin City Brewing in downtown Youngstown. The performance will start at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance at OperaWesternReserve.org or by calling 330 259 9651.
