The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville is still trying to figure out the cause of her facial disfigurement years later.
“I have to give an update on my face, ‘cause we got a lot of comments last time. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, guys,” Glanville, 53, said on the Thursday, June 4, episode of her “Brandi Unfiltered” podcast. “I thought I was fixed, and then it happened again and now it’s sinking in again.”
Glanville has dealt with an unknown medical condition that caused facial disfigurement for over two years. After spending more than $113,000 on various treatments, doctors believed that the Bravo alum had a parasite.
“If I had answers, I would tell you. I’ve been to a million doctors,” Glanville stated on Thursday. “The only thing that really seems to help is being out in the sun and the parasite medication and the parasite diet. I don’t have answers. Is there a doctor that specializes in parasites? Because I can’t find one.”
After visiting approximately “a thousand dermatologists,” Glanville is eager to finally find an actual diagnosis.
“We don’t know what’s going on, but I’m here to get to the bottom of it,” she said. “I have two friends that I met off this podcast because they messaged me and they’re very helpful, Sarah and Nicole, and we all have the same exact symptoms. All three of us had a lot of dental work, we all had black mold poisoning in the past. We are texting each other.”
While searching for answers, Glanville has been able to lean on her sons for support. (Glanville and ex-husband Eddie Cibrian share Mason, 23, and Jake, 19.)
“They’re so fed up [and] they’re like, ‘You’re going to another doctor.’ They’re like, ‘This is ridiculous. I can’t believe no one’s figured this out yet,’” Glanville exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2025. “They’re like, ‘It’s two years … this is crazy, Mom.’ I’m like, ‘Trust me. I’m going through it.’ But they’re going through it, too, because I’m not the best version of myself.”
She continued at the time, “I feel more overbearing because I feel like I don’t want them to leave my house. I want them to stay with me and I’m more needy with them because I don’t see very many people.”
According to Glanville, her kids often check in on her condition.
“I just have the best boys on the planet. They hug me [and] they’re like, ‘You’re so beautiful on the inside. Don’t worry about it,’” she gushed. “But then, they worry because they see how this affects me. [They ask], ‘How’d you sleep? How’s your day? How’s your neck?’ Mason’s a little bit of a worrywart, so he calls and checks on me, like, five times a day. It’s very sweet and Jake tries to tell me I look great.”
