CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Popular distillery and live music venue Firefly Distillery is going to soon be on the move after their property went under contact to be sold.
According to the announcement, Firefly states that they are not closing and they are not being sold, rather they are looking to write the next chapter of their story in a new Charleston area venue.
They credit the Park Circle community for embracing them in the beginning, and they plan to stay in that same area, offering everything that fans have come to love including spirits production, the tasting room, gift shop, private events and live music.
Not worry however, every scheduled event through December of 2027 will remain on the calendar exactly as planned, and they state that there is still many months before there will any type of transition.
As far as where they will go next, Firefly has not yet announced those details but they have said that they are looking forward to having the opportunity to design a space from the ground up that will serve as a world class music and hospitality venue. A venue that they plan to use to host even more shows and more artists.
