Kimberly Wyatt is preparing for a 21-city Pussycat Dolls tour, their first since 2009’s Doll Domination
Wyatt attributes her hip replacement to years of intense dancing and three Caesarean births
She says performing in her forties feels more meaningful and she plans to showcase her iconic leg lift on tour
Kimberly Wyatt says she got her hip replaced two years ago — but says she’s “not totally” pain-free as she embarks on a world tour with The Pussycat Dolls.
“I’ve been getting in my ballet moves, my relevés, my pliés, using a pull-up bar every week,” Wyatt, 44, told The Times UK about her preparation for the 21-city PCD Forever. Now a trio, Wyatt, Ashley Roberts and Nicole Scherzinger will take The Pussycat Dolls on the road for the first time since 2009’s Doll Domination Tour. (They previously attempted to reunite in 2019, but canceled their tour due to the pandemic.)

The hip replacement, Wyatt said, was the result of “dancing night after night, always wanting to nail it in front of 10,000 people” — along with three Caesareans. (She and her husband, model Max Rogers, share three children, ages 6 to 11.)
Wyatt says that while she’s “not totally” pain-free, she’s ready to show off her signature move — where she raises her leg to her head. “The leg lift is coming [on tour],” she told the outlet. “That leg is my legacy.”

But she joked, “the future will probably be another hip replacement at some point.”
Still, Wyatt told the outlet that the opportunity to reunite isn’t one she’s taking for granted: “Having this chance again in our forties, it means so much more than it did in our twenties.”
