Peter Phillips, the King’s nephew, sealed his marriage with a kiss after tying the knot with NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in the Gloucestershire countryside.
The newly-weds beamed as they left All Saints’ Church in Kemble hand in hand following the hour-long ceremony. The couple prompted rousing cheers as they paused to acknowledge the crowds.
Mr Phillips, 48, looked as proud as punch, beaming for the cameras as he sheltered his new wife from the rain under a large white umbrella while the church bells pealed.
The couple’s three daughters – now step-sisters – Savannah, 15, and Isla Phillips, 14, and Georgina Sperling, 13, wearing matching floral crowns, looked delighted as they watched on, holding the bride’s train.
After clambering into their car, husband and wife shared a kiss before being whisked off to Gatcombe Park, the Princess Royal’s estate, for the reception.
