The free event, organised by Newhaven Town Council, will take place on Denton Island on June 13.
The day will start at 1pm and finish at 6pm.
Visitors will be able to choose from a range of fun-packed activities on offer, including yoga, self-defence, Thai dance, or bubble workshops.
Also available will be a chess competition, local market stalls and residents can join in on jewellery making.
The event celebrates Sussex with activities that keep its spirit alive, usually including raising the Sussex flag and playing the unofficial Sussex Anthem Sussex by the Sea.
Sussex Day was first officially recognised by Henry Smith of West Sussex County Council in 2007 as an official day to acknowledge the historical and cultural values of Sussex.
The event typically takes place on June 16 each year, coinciding with the feast day of St Richard of Chichester.
Known for his moral standards and anti-corruption action, St Richard of Chichester was designated as the patron saint of Sussex, with his feast day marked annually.
This year, Sussex by the Sea will be performed by the jazz trio Amuse Manouche.
