Greenville Jazz Fest
What: The Greenville Jazz Fest is back for its fourth year, bringing award-winning jazz artists from across the country to Main Street. Attendees can head to two different stages to enjoy the music. The event is free, but show up early to secure the best seating.
When: Beginning 4 p.m. Friday, June 12 and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, 13.

‘The Notebook — The Musical’
What: If you’re looking for new reasons to cry, check out ‘The Notebook,’ the Broadway musical based on Nicholas Sparks’ celebrated novel. It’s running at The Peace Center this week.
When: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 10 and 11, 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, June 13, and 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14.

Upstate Shakespeare Festival: ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’
What: While it might not be the Globe, The Warehouse Theater’s annual Upstate Shakespeare Festival evokes hundreds of years of theater tradition. Actors tread the boards in Falls Park while audience members set up their folding chairs or picnic blankets in the grass. The first show of the summer is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
When: 7 p.m. Thursday-Sunday, from now until June 21.

Bit Brigade
