Singer, composer and music director Mehrab is set to make his return to the music scene with a new solo track titled “Bhalobashte Ki Bhoy Hoy”.
Mehrab first rose to prominence through the reality competition Closeup One in 2005, where his distinctive vocal style and versatile performances earned him recognition among music lovers. Since then, he has remained active as a singer, composer and music producer.
Following a period away from the spotlight, the artiste is now returning with renewed energy through his latest release, which will be distributed by Dhruba Music Station.
The song’s lyrics have been written by Robiul Islam Jibon. In addition to providing vocals, Mehrab also composed the track, while the music arrangement was handled by Adib Kabir.
Exploring themes of love, heartbreak and emotional vulnerability, the accompanying music video has been directed by Chandan Roy Chowdhury. The video features performances by Jaya Mirza and Tanmoy Sabi, while Mehrab also makes an appearance.
Speaking about the song, Mehrab said the track reflects the uncertainties that can accompany love and relationships.
“Love is one of the most beautiful emotions in life, but sometimes it also raises questions. “Bhalobashte Ki Bhoy Hoy” captures that feeling. I was deeply moved by the lyrics and tried to reflect that emotion through both the composition and my performance,” he said.
“After a long break, I’m returning with a project that is very close to my heart, so naturally I’m excited. I hope listeners will connect with it.”
According to Dhruba Music Station, the music video will premiere on its official YouTube channel on June 11. The song will also be released simultaneously on various digital streaming platforms in Bangladesh and abroad.
