Katy Perry went the retro route in her Lanvin look at Monday night’s premiere of “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live From Paris” at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

The “Firework” singer and Balenciaga campaign star turned to the French luxury fashion house’s spring 1987 collection, wearing a crisp white, sleeveless gown on the red carpet. The dress was crafted with thick, halter-style straps and three spiral rosette appliqués.
The rosette motifs also featured at the waist, where fabric was slightly gathered to provide waist definition to the overall look, creating a refined silhouette. The skirt of the dress draped in an A-line fashion to the red carpet.

As for accessories, Perry opted to continue the retro bent of Monday night’s look with a vintage white gold diamond ring featuring a 2.45-carat, triangle-cut diamond and six baguette-cut diamonds weighing more than 1 carat courtesy of Saidian Vintage Jewels.
Glam for the “Last Friday Night” singer featured her hair styled in a bun with wisps to frame her face, while makeup highlights included bold brows, lined eyes and a soft pink lip. Perry also posed for photos with her partner, former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

Lanvin’s spring 1987 collection was defined by a refined take on Grecian draping. Motifs included the spiral rosette appliqués featured on Perry’s dress. Over more than a century, the French luxury fashion house has gone through new chapters and its next phase is on the horizon.
Barbara Werschine officially joined Lanvin as the brand’s new chief executive officer in May, following years with Hermès, Celine, Louis Vuitton and Zadig & Voltaire. Werschine will work in tandem with Lanvin’s artistic director Peter Copping.

“People want to go back to elegance and formalwear and Lanvin is very accurate for that,” she told WWD. “I’m French, and Parisian, so I’m deeply attached to this brand. It’s part of our culture.”
The 2026 Tribeca Film Festival kicked off on June 3 and concludes on June 14. Stars such as Keke Palmer, Katie Holmes and Lux Pascal, among others, have already graced the red carpet for premieres, events and activations at the annual event in New York City.
