The weather will be hot this weekend, whatever events you attend in York County, with a chance for rain coming Friday and Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service in State College, on Friday, June 12, there is a chance for thunderstorms to in the afternoon, but otherwise it will be hot with a high around 94 and a low around 66 on Friday night. On Saturday, June 13, it will be sunny and clear with a high of around 88 and a low of around 64. On Sunday, June 14, the high will be around 90. Sunday night it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 63 with a 40% chance of rain.
York County Pride 2026 will be at the York Expo Center Saturday, June 13.

York County Pride 2026 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13, York Expo Center (All Trans Memorial Hall), 334 Carlisle Ave., York – A free, family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community featuring live entertainment, vendors, speakers and children’s activities. York Pride After Party – 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 13 – Downtown York – Presented by the Rainbow Rose Center, Gift Horse Brewing Company, and The Handsome Cab. Happy Hour at The Handsome Cab from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Live music is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Gift Horse. DJ Dance Party at Handsome Cab 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. with pop-up drag performances all night long.
Come Alive Women’s Conference – 7 p.m. Friday, June 12; 9 a.m. Saturday, June 13; 9:45 a.m. Sunday, June 14 – 260 Lafayette St., York – The three-day conference opens with evening sessions focused on women’s empowerment, featuring speakers, worship and community-building programming. Second Saturday Program — York County History Center – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13 – York County History Center Museum, 121 N. Pershing Ave., York – Historian Emily Sneff presents on early American history tied to the Declaration of Independence.
CapLive: ZOSO — The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience – 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13 – Capitol Theater, Appell Center for the Performing Arts, 50 N. George St., York – Tribute band ZOSO recreates Led Zeppelin’s live concert experience in a return to the Capitol Theatre stage. Tickets start at $40. Go to the Appell Center website for tickets.

South Central Pa. Genealogical Society Meeting – 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14 York County History Center Museum, 121 N. Pershing Ave., York – A public meeting focused on genealogy research and local history topics. The Henry James Young Award will be presented. It provides the organization with a means of honoring significant accomplishments in the field of local genealogy and history.
