Bonobo Announces New Album ‘Distance In Static’ Featuring Arooj Aftab, Nilüfer Yanya, Nicole Miglis, & More

We last heard from Bonobo when he contributed to the stacked Lazarus soundtrack alongside Floating Points, Kamasi Washington, and more. Now, he’s announcing a new album called Distance In Static, and it features a great roster of guests like Arooj Aftab, Nilüfer Yanya, and Nicole Miglis.

Distance In Static follows 2022’s Fragments. About the title, Simon Green explains, “I think the front end of what I’ve done has now become something that’s referential to younger people. I liked the idea of listening for a distant signal — trying to find something in the noise.”
