Clint Eastwood has seen the good, the bad and the ugly in his seven-decade career in Hollywood. But is he done with filmmaking forever?
Despite Kyle Eastwood suggesting his dad had already made his last movie, brother Scott Eastwood isn’t entirely sure the 96-year-old is putting down the camera, admitting that “we’ll see” whether the legendary filmmaker’s alleged retirement will stick.
“I have not heard that from his mouth at all,” Scott told ScreenRant in an interview published June 9. “So I don’t know what that feels like.”
But even if The Good, the Bad and the Ugly star is done in Hollywood, he’s left quite a legacy for his kids, including the 40-year-old, to look up to.
“His career in general has been something to admire, something to be inspired by, and continues to inspire me,” Scott continued to ScreenRant. “The work, the artistry that he’s done on and off screen. Producing, writing, composing, directing, acting. The body of work is incredible.”
Speculation around Clint’s retirement stemmed from Kyle’s comments late last year suggesting that the Gran Torino actor had hung up his hat.
