Crispin Glover Denies Claims He Held Ex ‘Captive’ for Sex in Court Docs

Crispin Glover has responded to a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend alleging she was “held captive” by the Back to the Future actor and was “used for sex and free labor.”

Glover delivered his side of the story in court documents, obtained by TMZ, claiming he and Jane Doe were involved in a consensual romantic relationship. The 62-year-old actor also maintained she came to the United States as his girlfriend.

Doe, a model from the United Kingdom, alleges in her complaint that she and Glover did not meet in person until eight years after their first interaction when he reached out to her on social media. She claimed Glover promised her a home and a job in Los Angeles in exchange for working as his assistant. Glover denies offering her an assistant position or salary.

Doe claimed she was evicted from his home “without any notice or warning of any kind,” and was assaulted by him when she attempted to return to the residence to retrieve her belongings.

In Glover’s account, he alleges Doe started “acting erratically” after he denied her request to “deceive others by saying that we were married in an Islamic ceremony.” She allegedly left his home afterwards to stay with friends.

The actor claimed Doe returned the next day with an unidentified man who threatened him. Glover was then allegedly attacked by Doe, who was later arrested when the actor called the police.

In his statement, Glover provided a photo of the wound he allegedly sustained on his face when Doe physically attacked him, and a copy of the temporary restraining order he filed against her two days after the alleged incident, as reported by People.

Glover is also denying Doe’s claim that he showed her memorabilia from his Nazi collection when they met in Germany in 2023, arguing that she is including sensational allegations to damage his reputation.

Glover is requesting that the court dismiss Doe’s claims related to the incident that led to his temporary restraining order against her. Glover alleges her lawsuit is ultimately meant to extort him or at least, force him into a settlement.
