Deloach’s Music – House of Tone, a family-owned business serving Southeast Georgia for nearly four decades, has moved to a new location on Chanabby Court in Statesboro.

For nearly four decades, Deloach’s Music – House of Tone has been a cornerstone of the local music community, serving musicians, churches, schools, and families throughout Statesboro and Southeast Georgia.

Founded in 1989 by the late Wendell Deloach Sr., the business was built on a passion for music and a commitment to helping others pursue their musical interests. A lifelong musician and drummer, Deloach Sr. established the store as a trusted source for musical instruments, sound equipment, repairs, and professional audio services.

Over the years, the company has completed numerous church sound system installations and supported generations of musicians across the region.

Following the passing of Wendell Deloach Sr. in 2024, his son, Wendell Deloach Jr., has continued the family business, carrying forward the same dedication to customer service and community involvement that has defined Deloach’s Music for almost 40 years.

Recently, the business relocated from its longtime home on Northside Dr. to a new facility nearby. While some community members have mistakenly heard that the store closed, Deloach wants customers to know that Deloach’s Music is very much open and operating.

“We haven’t closed—we simply moved,” said Deloach. “Our new location is better suited for a music store and allows us to continue serving our customers with the same level of care and expertise they’ve come to expect.”

Today, Deloach’s Music remains a family-owned business dedicated to helping musicians of all ages and skill levels find the instruments, equipment, and support they need. Beyond being a retail store, it continues to serve as a gathering place for the local music community and a resource for churches, schools, and performers throughout the region.

As the business approaches its 40th anniversary, Deloach’s Music House of Tone looks forward to continuing its longstanding tradition of serving Statesboro and surrounding communities for years to come.
