The actor teased the relaunch of his podcast, He Said, Ella Dijo, which he hosted with his wife, Roselyn Sánchez, until November 2025.
Eric and Roselyn asked for fans’ help with relaunching their podcast.
Eric Winter is changing things up ahead of The Rookie season 9.
The actor always has something new going on, whether it’s a TV appearance or a launch for his drinks brand. But a venture that’s been on pause lately is He Said, Ella Dijo, the podcast he hosts with his wife, Roselyn Sánchez. The show launched in 2019 and has been on hiatus since November 2025.
But according to a surprise Instagram video on June 11, it looks like the podcast will return. And the couple is looking for ways to upgrade it, too.
“So, we are going to relaunch He Said, Ella Dijo,” she revealed in the clip. And we’ve been thinking and thinking about how to do this effectively … We just want to do something really amazing. We did how many seasons of He Said, Ella Dijo, like 3 seasons? It was very special. Anyways, we want to relaunch, and I have a question for you. I want to go grand. I want to do something amazing. I want a new studio, I want a live audience, I want …”
While Roselyn wanted to go big for the relaunch, Eric seemed to have other ideas.
“We just had a meeting!” Eric interrupted. “We’re not putting together a live audience and studio right now! Who do you think we are? The Tonight Show? We just had one meeting about rebooting the podcast! This one’s going to 100 right now!”
“I just want to do something really cool!” she added. “So my question to you guys is … should we change the name or keep it? Should we have more guests or just mainly us? Should we have live audiences, so we do something really cool?”
When fans saw Eric and Roselyn’s announcement, they immediately had opinions about it.
“Just bring that chaotic energy back anywhere and I think we will all be there for it. 😂,” one person wrote in the comments. “Maybe give Eric a hug. His blood pressure seems high 🤣🤣. Aside from that, I LOVE how action y’all have been today. I miss the podcast. Keep the name. Just do video footage instead of just clips here and there. Definitely add guests. Keep it simple. Don’t stress,” another penned. “I love the chaos of this 😀 and happy to have your podcast back!” a different follower added.
