A sparkling afternoon of Mozart — the Haffner Symphony, the Marriage of Figaro overture, and the radiant Piano Concerto No. 23 performed by John Wilson, pianist of the San Francisco Symphony.
Wednesday, June 24 • 7:00pm — A Night at the Opera: Pagliacci
Raw, immediate, and gripping — 80 minutes of passion and betrayal performed by an exceptional cast of acclaimed opera singers including Carrie Hennessey, Sal Atti, Bob Balonek, Jon Saatman, and Matthew Peterson, plus the Music in the Mountains chorus!
Friday, June 26 • 7:00pm — Scheherazade: One Thousand and One Nights
Rimsky-Korsakov’s shimmering masterpiece, performed by the full MIM Festival Orchestra with extended solos for every principal player. This will be a powerful musical experience.
Sunday, June 28 • 3:00pm — An American Celebration: John Williams Escapades
Patriotic favorites, a dazzling John Williams jazz suite featuring vibraphonist Michael Downing and saxophonist Jonathan Hulting-Cohen, bass soloist Bill Everett, and a world premiere by local composer Jerry Grant. A joyful afternoon for everyone.
Saturday, July 11 • 5:30pm — Dessert in the Garden with Rogue Music Project
An intimate evening of cocktails, dessert, and genre-defying music by soprano Carrie Hennessey, baritone Omari Tau, pianist Jennifer Reason, mezzo-soprano Sarah Fitch, and bari-tenor Kevin Doherty— in a gorgeous private garden. Limited tickets.
