Distro Fest NYC is a free, one-of-a-kind celebration of music supported by community, artists, industry professionals, and music entrepreneurs, happening Thursday, June 25 at DROM, at 85 Ave A on New York City’s Lower East Side. The event is part of New York Music Month and is equal parts education, networking, and live entertainment.
Distro Fest NYC is presented by Anchor Music Collective, SPIN Magazine, and WHO?MAG Distribution and supported by GigLogic, Shure Microphones, Musiversal, feature.fm, Digital Royalty Distribution, KiTbetter, Tipify, Rotor Video (by LyricFind), and OIID as well as labels Vaultt Music, BeyonDaFence, Othawurld Muzik Group, Gran Centennial, and Neda Zehra. Supporting partners are contributing their products, services, and special offers to the Creators’ Gift Pack worth over $500.
Music Industry Panel
The evening kicks off with a dynamic panel discussion featuring six prominent voices from across the music industry including GigLogic, Shure, feature.fm, Musiversal, Digital Royalty Distribution, and OIID. Panelists will share insights on new tech tools and what it takes to build a sustainable career in today’s rapidly changing music business. It is being hosted by music industry vet David Hazan.
VIP Reception
Following the panel, a VIP reception will provide an exclusive opportunity for guests to connect with panelists, fellow artists, and industry professionals. The reception underscores Distro Fest NYC’s commitment to fostering real relationships and meaningful dialogue within the music community.
Live Video Mixtape: 21 Artists. One Hour.
The centerpiece of Distro Fest NYC is the Live Video Mixtape — a groundbreaking, high-energy showcase in which 21 artists take the stage across a single, electrifying hour. Drawing from the spirit of the classic NYC mixtape format, this rapid-fire performance spotlights a diverse roster of emerging and established talent. Performances include Chill Rob G, Pan Amsterdam, Mikey D (Main Source), Vaultt Music, The RumRepublik, BeyonDaFence, Neda Zehra, Gran Centennial, Melissa Bonilla, Jada Reese, Chris Greiner, Helen & Terry, Susan G, The Arcane Insignia, Turbo Goth, Honey Dinero, Judah Priest, Fire Nation Flamez, Broadway Q, The Acute, and RHYMRCKA. It is hosted by legendary DJ The DTA Experience (former DJ for Prince and Beyonce) and Grammy Nominated BabyPaul BPZY.
