Bath House Cultural Center celebrates Juneteenth with food and live entertainment

To commemorate the freedom of Black Americans on June 19, 1865, the Bath House Cultural Center will present “Juneteenth: Liberation in Motion!” on June 19 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will feature barbecue from Ursula Anderson, Philadelphia water ice from Dawone Marshall and lemonade from LemeLand. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and chairs, though seating will also be available.

Entertainment will include performances by Sunny & The Heat Rays and Sunny Doll Entertainment, two independent Black-owned businesses.

Guests will also have the chance to browse jewelry made by ASE by Vonshay and Ms. P’s Jewelry. Cousin’s Bakery’s baked goods will also be available. 

This family friendly event is free, but registration is required through Sunny Doll Entertainment’s website.
