The actress shared an Instagram carousel of all the famous friends who came to see Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, but fans were too distracted by the bulge in Garrett Morris‘ pants to notice Whoopi Goldberg, Angela Bassett, and Captain America star Anthony Mackie.
In the photo that quickly went viral, Henson is posed beside the 89-year-old comedian — the first Black cast member on Saturday Night Live — as he leans back against his walker, giving the camera an eyeful. She deleted the jaw-dropping image, but not before the comments section reacted.
“Unc junior got that pocket change down der,” wrote one person, alluding to Morris’ character, Uncle Junior, on The Jamie Foxx Show. “I wasn’t trying to see Stan like that,” cracked another follower referencing his recurring role on Martin.
Morris responded to the online chatter with his signature satirical humor.
“It seems I’ve caused quite a stir because of a recent photo where it looks like I have a baby boa constrictor between my legs,” the comedian said into a tiny microphone affixed to a hair pick. “Now, I don’t mind holding up these stereotypes usually given to Black men. But ladies and gentlemen, I’m more than a body. I’m a brain too.”
He’s also an author, and he urged all who were impressed by his manhood to pick up a copy of his forthcoming book, Ain’t That a Bitch, “which is what I thought when I saw that picture of me and Taraji Henson,” quipped Morris. “Look, I have been [photographed] with Emmy winners, Oscar winners, Tony winners, and never did I think I would be upstaged by my penis.”

While he had everyone’s attention, the comedian also used his platform to ask a serious “favor.”
“I want you to vote, okay?” Morris told his followers. “I was here during that Civil Rights Movement. I actually saw Martin Luther King preach about us fighting for our rights… vote and buy my book!”
