Madonna’s new music ‘healed’ relationship with daughter Lourdes

The music icon discussed the inspiration behind Confessions II, a sequel to her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, during a conversation with Interview magazine, when she admitted she was left shocked when 29-year-old Lourdes suggested they work together for the record. “So many very important things have happened to me along the way. For instance, the song I wrote with my daughter, Lola (Lourdes). She approached me about writing a song together as a way to heal our relationship.”
