Villagers and visitors recently enjoyed a coffee morning featuring the Craven Accordion Orchestra Juniors.
The event, hosted by Gargrave Village Hall Management Committee and Gargrave Library Committee, celebrated the young musicians’ recent silver medal win at an international event, which included participants from Slovakia and Ukraine.
The juniors also shone at this year’s Skipton Music Festival.
The next coffee morning, set for July 18, will feature slightly older accordion players, giving teenagers a chance to showcase their talents.
The monthly Collectable and Craft Fair is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, in the Village Hall.
The main hall and side rooms will be filled with stallholders selling a variety of items, including antiques, vintage goods, collectables, small furniture, jewellery, gifts, wax melts, books, jigsaws, bric-a-brac, plants, and crafts.
There will also be stalls raising funds for Manorlands Hospice, The Cats Protection League, and the Village Hall itself.
The event will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm, with food available all day, and entry is 50p or by donation.
The church will hold an 8am BCP Holy Communion and an 11am Family Communion.
The church is open daily for private prayer, with a dedicated prayer area and resources.
The Coffee Monday Cafe is from 10.30am to 12noon with fresh coffee or tea, and tea cakes or home-made scones available.
