Josh Duhamel is letting go of his Los Angeles home.
The Ransom Canyon star, 53, has officially listed his four-bedroom, four-bathroom Encino property for $3 million. The listing comes after Duhamel welcomed his second child with wife Audra Mari in May. He’s also frequently expressed how much he would love to live in his Minnesota “doomsday cabin” full time.
Duhamel bought the Los Angeles ranch-style home for $2.65 million in 2017, and it became the family’s home base on the West Coast since then, according to Realtor.com. The property boasts stunning mountain views and 3,300 square feet of interior space.
Thomas Atamian of Coldwell Banker Realty currently holds the listing.

Inside the home, a spacious great room with an open layout connects the kitchen to the living and dining areas. The kitchen features an extensive center island with barstool seating, as well as an additional seating area situated directly next to it.

In the recently renovated primary bedroom, glass sliding doors offer direct access to the backyard’s amenities. The room also has sweeping views of the mountains and the property’s surrounding greenery. The suite also features two walk-in closets, as well as a bathroom with dual sinks, a freestanding soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
In the backyard, a pool and hot tub create an ideal space to relax, in addition to the private sauna. There’s also a built-in BBQ area with a space for outdoor dining and multiple seating areas centered around the fire pit.

The listing comes after Duhamel said he and his family spend “a majority of time” at their Minnesota home in an interview with Extra TV published in March.
Along with his newborn daughter, the actor shares 2-year-old son Shepherd with Mari. He’s also dad to son Axl, 12, from his previous marriage to ex-wife Fergie.
Duhamel previously opened up to PEOPLE about why he prefers to live a quieter life in Minnesota away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.

“I make movies and TV shows, and I love it, I truly do love it, but I had this calling to go and really do things with my hands again — fix things, make things and just do the basic things that we take for granted,” he said during the 2025 interview.

“I’m really more of a guy who wants to stay true to my roots, get back to the basics, hone whatever basic skills I need in this world of massive technology, to do the basic things to provide for my family,” added the star. “That’s really what it’s about for me.”

After Duhamel bought an empty parcel of land about an hour-and-a-half drive away from Fargo, N.D. over a decade ago, he slowly started to build a rustic cabin there and eventually expanded the space with more land.
His off-grid lakeside property — which Duhamel calls his “doomsday cabin” — didn’t have electricity, running water or other amenities for a long time.
