Disney has added a new entertainment act to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026. Captain Jack Sparrow is coming to Adventureland, leading what Disney is describing as a swashbuckling series of pirate antics.
In a new update today, Disney’s description is brief: “NEW! See Spirited Swashbucklers. Sail over to Adventureland, where Captain Jack Sparrow has dropped anchor to lead a swashbuckling series of pirate antics.”
Beyond that, details are light. Format, showtimes, and duration have not yet been confirmed.
Could This Replace the Rusty Cutlass?
The Rusty Cutlass — the pirate band that has been a fixture at past party seasons in Adventureland — has not yet appeared on any confirmed 2026 entertainment listing. That absence, combined with the arrival of a new Captain Jack Sparrow experience in the same area, suggests this could be a replacement rather than an addition alongside it.
Nothing has been confirmed either way, and Disney may yet announce the Rusty Cutlass separately.
