- Veterans, active-duty service members and their families can register for free tickets.
Musical chameleon Post Malone is coming to Columbus for an evening of events honoring the nation, along with those who served and continue to serve the country.
“Salute 250” will be equal parts celebration of America’s 250th birthday and concert for a cause, Easy Day Foundation, which supports veterans transitioning from military to civilian life.
Country-rock musician-songwriter HARDY will join headliner Malone on July 2 at Historic Crew Stadium. Doors open at 5 p.m.
General-admission tickets are available at the link below.
In addition to the concert, highlights of the 250th birthday celebration will include an Ohio veteran singing the national anthem, plus programming honoring veterans throughout the evening, and Fourth of July fireworks. (Fun fact: Malone’s birthday is July 4.)
As part of the event’s mission to give back, free tickets are available for veterans, active-duty service members and their families who register at VetTix.org.
A flair for racking up hits followed Malone into the country arena with popular singles like “I Had Some Help,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks.
He’s working on his seventh studio release, “The Eternal Buzz,” a 40-track double album due out this year.
HARDY, the Academy of Country Music’s Songwriter of the Year in 2022, has earned a reputation for his hitmaking lyrics. Besides his own material, he has written for artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett and Morgan Wallen.
The 35-year-old Mississippian is playing at “Salute 250” between dates on his “Country! Country! Tour!,” which supports his album by the same name.
