Things are about to get a lot more country, Toronto! Grab your cowboy boots and jean shorts; there’s a new music festival coming to town.
Say howdy to the Route 905 Country Festival, a new two-day festival taking place in Hamilton this July. Designed to be one of the most affordable and large scale music festivals in Ontario, tickets start at just $100 CAD, and it’s only an hour away.
It all goes down from Friday, July 24, to Saturday, July 25, at the historic Ancaster Fairgrounds.

Two days of country talent
Chase Rice is the main headliner on Saturday night
As the inaugural event, you can bet the weekend lineup is pretty stacked.
Friday night is all about celebrating Canadian musical talent. The headliner is one of Canada’s most decorated country singers (and 23-time CCMA Award winner), Brett Kissel.
The “She Drives Me Crazy” singer will be the final performance of the day, which also includes Jade Eagleson, Madeline Merlo, and Ryan Langdon.
International artists bring their talent to the Golden Horseshoe on Saturday with headliner Chase Rice, a multi-platinum country artist and international touring act. The co-writer of “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line, Rice’s performance is accompanied by day sets from Chayce Beckham, Tyler Braden, Angelica Appelman, and Andy Colonico.
Even better, both festival days will be marked by a special-off stage acoustic set from Cam Brown.

Bringing to you some of the most popular voices in the Canadian country scene, Route 905 is gearing up to be a new summer must-do. From local singers to international heavy-hitters, it’s a two-day event filled with good times, good friends, and good music.
