AMBLER — While the crowds might be gone, organizers of the 2026 Ambler Arts and Music Festival reveled in its success.

Thousands of people descended on the Montgomery County borough to shop, dine, and listen to a slate of performances over two days on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20.

“I think it went spectacularly. I don’t think there was anything that I could do differently that would have made it any better,” said Ambler Main Street Manager Elizabeth Wahl Kunzier.

The 13th annual event featured beer gardens, children’s activities, food trucks, dozens of artisan vendors, and nearly a dozen bands for festivalgoers to enjoy.

“I couldn’t have asked for better weather because weather is a make-or-break. It can be too hot. It can be too cold,” Wahl Kunzier said. “[The] last couple of years it’s been raining, and … not only does it ruin your spirits, but it ruins the vendors’ sales, and the performances and stuff like that. So I think the weather was the ultimate factor in the success of the event.”

Wahl Kunzier expected people to come from across the Delaware Valley. While attendance figures weren’t immediately available, Wahl Kunzier anticipated the turnout would be similar to that of 2024. Cell service data from the 2024 event recorded 22,000 people on one day.

“I would say we met or exceeded that number, and from the stage looking out, it was wall-to-wall people all the way down Cavalier Drive, and then along the avenue as well. So I think it was one of our top events,” Wahl Kunzier said.

Steal the Night, UC3, and The Sensational Soul Cruisers performed on Friday, June 19. Valentina Sounds, Fallon’s Religion, Reservoir Hill, Main Street Band, The Verdict Reggae Soca Band, and The Mike DelGuidice Band played on Saturday, June 20.

Wahl Kunzier took a moment to reflect on the past 13 years growing the event that’s become a staple in Ambler.“I think it has a great impact on the community,” Wahl Kunzier said, adding, “It’s really neat because it’s camaraderie. It’s good vibes for the summer.”

“It started the summer off with some really good vibes,” she said.

Looking ahead, Wahl Kunzier said First Fridays are scheduled for Aug. 7 and Sept. 11. Visit amblermainstreet.org for more information.
