“The live entertainment was very well received,” Walters said. “Attendees enjoyed listening to The Negotiators and The M-80s while taking part in the festival activities and spending time in the park. The performances helped create a lively, family-friendly atmosphere throughout the event.”
This year’s festival also introduced several new attractions, including a petting farm and live magic shows, both of which quickly became crowd favorites.
“This year, we introduced several new attractions, including a petting farm and a magician, both of which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees,” Walters said. “We enjoy providing this event for the community and are committed to adding new and engaging activities each year to keep Pelham Palooza exciting and enjoyable for everyone who attends.”
The expanded children’s zone featured bounce houses, face painting, balloon twisting, obstacle courses and other family activities throughout the day.
“The expanded Kids Zone was very well received, with families enjoying the wide range of activities available,” Walters said. “The live magic show, and petting farm in particular, proved to be a highlight, with attendees frequently commenting on how much they appreciated the new addition to the event.”
Walters said Pelham Palooza’s continued popularity reflects the community’s enthusiasm for free, family-oriented events and the city’s commitment to providing recreational opportunities throughout the year.
“The Pelham community is highly supportive and values outdoor events that bring people together,” Walters said. “Free, family-friendly programming is especially appreciated by residents. Pelham Parks and Recreation strives to offer a wide variety of events throughout the year, and Pelham Palooza continues to stand out as a signature gathering that reflects that commitment.”
