Kim Greene has been responsible for some of Drew Barrymore‘s most memorable on-screen looks.
The makeup artist recently shared some mementos from working with the actress, 51. Greene also shared photos highlighting different looks Barrymore wore as Josie Geller in 1999’s Never Been Kissed.
“Drew Barrymore continuity Polaroids for Never Been Kissed. They’ve been forgotten in a box in my garage since the late 90’s, as you can tell!” she captioned a shot, which features a photo album page full of Polaroids showing the actress’ look at different moments in the film.
Barrymore and Greene first worked together on 1997’s Best Men and have since worked together on over 10 films. In another Instagram post, she shared images of the age-progression she did on Barrymore for 2001’s Riding in Cars With Boys.
“I hope you find my trip down memory lane as fun as I do! Drew Barrymore in Riding in Cars with Boys. Drew nailed the transformation into the character Beverly Donofrio! She was absolutely fantastic in this film. She was, I think, 26 years old when we shot the film,” she recalled.
“My job as her Makeup Artist was to support her physical transformation as the character ages from a young teen to a 37-year-old woman. Her hair dresser, Barbara Olvera and I spent a lot of time collaborating with Drew. The charts show part of my de-aging and age progression design plan. We also added appropriate period-correct makeup and hair. @drewbarrymore.”
