Dolly Parton is “overjoyed” by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s $2 million donation to her charity.
On Friday, July 3, the country legend shared an Instagram Reel thanking the pop megastar and NFL player ahead of their wedding.
“Taylor and Travis, it’s Dolly, and I was just told that you two were making a donation of $2 million to my Imagination Library,” Parton, 80, says of the donation to her book gifting philanthropy in the video. “I’m blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude.”
Parton went on to quip, “Now, it’s evident, that you have made giving back a key part of your lives, so hey, when you have you firstborn, can I have it? Because that is gonna be one special baby!”

The “Jolene” hitmaker added, “You know the mission of the Dollywood Foundation is to dream more, care more, learn more and be more, and thank you again for your very generous gift. And, we’ll continue that mission even in bigger ways now with your money.”
Concluding her thank-you video, Parton said, “So, thank you, and know that I will always love you,” ending the clip in song and blowing a kiss to the camera.
“Thank you @taylorswift and @killatrav for the generous gift to @imaginationlibrary! ❤️ I wish you both the best, and know that I will always love you,” Parton captioned the video.
In 1995, Parton launched her Imagination Library — a free book gifting program for kids — and has donated more than 200 million books worldwide since its founding.
“I know there are children in communities around the world with big dreams and the seeds of these dreams are often found in books,” said Parton in a 2023 statement. “It’s been one of my greatest gifts in life to help instill a love of reading through my Imagination Library.”

Insiders told PEOPLE ahead of the rehearsal dinner on Thursday that MSG had been “transformed” but not into “a castle.”
“It looks very special,” a source told PEOPLE exclusively. “They have grass, carpets and canopies, and it looks like a place where you’d get married. There’s a stage set up, but it’s special.”
