SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WZTV) — The City of Springfield’s Freedom Fest is happening tonight, but there’s a last-minute change to the lineup.
Country singer Easton Corbin won’t be performing due to an illness, according to a press release from the city. Officials say they hope he recovers quickly.
The music will now start at 6:15 p.m., and fireworks will light up the sky shortly after 9:00 p.m. Everything else about the event will run as planned.
The festival runs from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, July 3 at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, 4635 US-41. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with free carnival rides, food vendors, face painting and more.
The event is free and open to everyone.
