On Friday, July 3, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married at a star-studded event in Madison Square Garden. The celebrity guest list of over 1,000 people included Jennifer Lopez, who showed up in glamorous style.
The actress and singer shared photos of her look on Instagram the next morning in a carousel, modeling a scoop-neck Bach Mai gown with a black velvet bodice and full vinyl skirt that ballooned out from a drop-waistline. Around her neck was a massive diamond necklace arranged in silver flower settings to match her flower-shaped earrings.
J.Lo had her hair back in a sleek updo and wore smoky eyeliner. For accessories, she had on a pair of black open-toe platform heels and carried a black clutch purse.
Lopez and Swift have been friends for some time. In 2013, J.Lo made an appearance during Swift’s Red Tour for a performance of her hit “Jenny from the Block.”
In 2023, Lopez told E! News that Swift would likely be her Woman of the Year. “Taylor’s kinda killing it this year,” she said. “Yeah, I would say Taylor, maybe.”
Ahead of the wedding, the New York Times reported the wedding dress code, sharing that the men were being asked to wear “a tuxedo, with a jacket, black bow tie, and matching satin-striped trousers,” while women could wear “floor-length gowns, elevated cocktail dresses, or dressy separates.”
