Donna Kelce is marveling at her son, Travis Kelce, and Taylor Swift’s wedding. The NFL tight end and pop superstar exchanged vows in a celebrity-filled ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3.
“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical,” Donna remarked in an interview shared on Macy’s Instagram on Sunday, July 5. While she opted to maintain privacy regarding further specifics about the ceremony, she reminisced about bringing her sons, Travis, 36, and Jason, 38, to view the Fourth of July fireworks during their childhood.
“I remember I used to take the boys down to Lake Erie, and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she recalled. Despite maintaining close relationships with both her sons, a source previously suggested that Donna wasn’t “told very much” about the celebrations.
“They actually haven’t told Donna very much; she is just going with the flow. They’re letting her know where she needs to be and when she needs to be there. They have a driver for her,” a source revealed to the Daily Mail.

“That’s how it is with everybody, even the people really close to them. When they get to where they need to be, they’re told where they’re going next,” the insider disclosed.
The source additionally clarified, “So she doesn’t really know a lot about the plans, because she hasn’t been told. I think that’s their way of making sure nothing leaks. Everyone is on a ‘need to know’ basis.”
As it turns out, there appears to be no animosity, as Donna reportedly prefers to be kept in the dark about the arrangements beforehand.

“I think she likes it that way. It’s not a stress. Travis told her what type of clothes she’d need, and basically, everything is going to be easy for her. She’s very excited to experience it as it happens, with some mystery along the way,” the insider revealed.
Hollywood’s elite and the industry’s biggest stars converged on Madison Square Garden to mark the occasion for the high-profile pair on Friday. Actor Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, with Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, serving as her Man of Honor, while Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, stood alongside him as Best Man.
Despite the veil of secrecy surrounding the event, a source disclosed that four stagehands “were escorted out Thursday night for taking pictures” of the wedding preparations.
A source informed Page Six that the workers were not terminated over the matter, explaining: “Since they work for the union, and not MSG, they would have to go to arbitration before they were fired.”
