Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3. Since that day, many fans have been eager to see inside the venue—and to get a look at Mrs. Kelce in her wedding gown. The couple, who started dating in 2023, did their very best to keep the details of their nuptials private, reportedly having guests sign NDAs and putting a strict no cell phone rule in place to ensure that nothing leaked.
However, dozens of purported wedding photos have circulated online in recent days, many of them appearing to be AI-generated. On Saturday, July 4, Swift’s onetime music video director, Joseph Kahn, spoke up about the pictures that have popped up on social media.
“Every picture I’ve seen of the wedding is fake. Trust me, AI would break if you tried to prompt it,” Kahn wrote on X. He did not specify whether he was referring only to images circulating on social media or also to photos published by the Daily Mail.
At the time of this writing, neither Taylor nor Travis had released any official wedding photos. There are a few details that have been confirmed, however, including that the bride and groom both wore custom Dior and that actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the wedding.
Kahn, who directed several of Taylor’s music videos across her 1989 and Reputation album eras, appears to be the first wedding guest who has addressed the “leaked” wedding photos thus far.
However, Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, commented on the wedding while celebrating America’s 250th birthday with Macy’s in New York City on July 4.
“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical,” she said.
