The Prince of Wales played bowls with children at a Welsh-language school on Tuesday.
The Prince, 44, seemed in high spirits as he joined pupils and a handful of athletes from the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Hanwell, west London.
At the same time, some 12 miles across town, the Prince’s estranged younger brother was dealt a legal blow when he learned that he had lost his high-profile £50m privacy claim against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, was speaking about his Invictus Games at Chatham House in London on Tuesday afternoon when the news broke, while his older brother went to an engagement in west London.
The Prince joined the schoolchildren of Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain, which is a bilingual Welsh-English primary school for children aged three to 11, and a handful of athletes from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
He spoke to athletes who will take part, telling them he looked forward to “an amazing summer” of sport.
