‘SLOMW’ Fans Seemingly Tracked Down the Identity of Layla Taylor’s GF After Her Soft-Launch Post

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Layla Taylor has nothing left to hide. The MomTok member came out as bisexual and revealed she was in a relationship with a woman during a June 29 appearance on the On Purpose With Jay Shettypodcast.

“It’s just something that I honestly didn’t really know how to formally address for a long period of my life,” Layla shared toward the end of Pride month. “I’m gay and I’m bi and date women and men.”

A week after the news broke, Layla shared a cheeky soft launch on social media, which was appropriately captioned, “Chivalry isn’t dead it’s w the lesbians.”

While her rumored girlfriend wasn’t fully in the frame, her tattooed arm appeared slightly as Layla grabbed her hand and smiled at her, and, naturally, the sleuths of the internet (ahem, more specifically, those on Reddit) seemingly tracked down the identity of Layla’s GF based on her ink. Others even pointed out that she kinda resembles the MomTok member’s ex, Mason McWhorter, but personally? I don’t really see it.

Anyway, you may be wondering: Who is Layla Taylor’s girlfriend? Fans are convinced it’s Denver-based barber Kelsie Carpenter (who, sadly, has no relation to Sabrina). Here’s everything we know about the reality TV personality’s potential match.

Kelsie owns a barbershop

According to her social media profiles, Kelsie owns Main Barber in Golden, Colorado, and her “goal is to create a space where style knows no gender.”

She’s seemingly fresh out of a relationship

Per some scrolling through TikTok, Kelsie was previously linked to hairstylist and content creator Kianna Carpenter from 2023 to 2026.

Kelsie left a flirty comment underneath a July 2025 video posted by Kianna, in which she lip-syncs to a sound that says, “This girl in my DMs say I’m pretty.” At the time, Kelsie wrote, “I sure do.”

According to their Zola wedding website, the former flames wed in July 2023, but underneath one of her recent TikToks, Kelsie confirmed that she and Kianna had called it quits.

“Are you no longer with Kianna?” one commenter asked, to which she replied, “We are not.”

In the video, Kels is posted up at the airport, and eventually, in her seat on the plane, which revealed she was flying from Denver to Salt Lake City, Utah. AKA where most of the SLOMW cast, including Layla, is located!

Layla and Kelsie have yet to confirm whether they’re actually dating, but I have to give eagle-eyed fans their 10s for tracking down this potential match.
