Food Trucks and Flicks: “How to Train Your Dragon” (Live Action) – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 10, Cousler Park, 1060 Church Rd., York, Manchester Township. Enjoy food trucks, yard games and outdoor screening of the family-friendly film. The movie will begin at dark on Raver Stage. Food trucks will include Ry Guys, Mammas Meltz, Carousel Creperies, Sarah’s Creamery and Mac Stack.

Firefly Hike at Kinsley Nature Preserve – 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, July 10, Robert A. Kinsley Nature Preserve, 1700 Good Hope Rd., Red Lion – Participants can explore the preserve after dark and learn about local firefly species. Tickets are $12.51 online. Go to its Eventbrite page.
Friday Night Jazz – 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., Friday, July 10, Victor’s Italian Restaurant, 554 S. Ogontz St., York City – Part of Victor’s monthlong Friday Night Jazz series.
Uncle Sam Crawl – 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 11, Downtown York (registration at The Handsome Cab), 106 N. George St., York City – Participants visit more than a dozen downtown locations for themed food and beverage samples. Tickets are $26.50 each and can be purchased at the event’s Ticketleap page.

History Explorers: Centennial Celebrations – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 11, York County History Center Museum, 121 N. Pershing Ave., York City – Family-friendly hands-on activities tied to America’s 250th anniversary commemoration. Cost is $5 for students, $2 for member students. Accompanying adults get in free. Flames Across the Susquehanna Tour – 2 p.m., Sunday, July 12, Zimmerman Center for Heritage, 1706 Long Level Rd, Wrightsville – A one-hour boat tour exploring the Susquehanna River’s Civil War history.
